I was thinking about this the other day and just now getting to post it. The recirculation on the G30 is simply a hose that lays on the plate and pumps water onto the plate. Most of the time there is enough standing water on the plate to cover it, and I am sure the grain bed is getting properly saturated. But, I was watching something, damned if I can remember what, and somebody had attatched a sparge difuser (Not sure if that is what it is really called) and it sprayed the wort over the bed instead of just running it to create a pool. Is this more efficient? I have gotten pretty good numbers on my Grainfather so I am not looking to change a lot up, but if this works better I might look into it. Thoughts?
