Installed a Honeywell 8200 that I converted to LP and it works fine but only for one time then I have to disconnect the regulator from the tank and reconnect again to make it work again. Or I can turn off the burner value at the burner and it will work every time. I would think this is a problem with having the wrong regulator, but what should I have for a regulator to get the job done?

if you are using the newer ACME connectors they have build in safety valves to prevent a leak but if you don't have enough resistance than it looks like an open line and it shuts the valve. common issue with gas beams to share gas with multiple devices. you can fix by moving to old POL connectors (not as safe) or you can try smaller piping/hoses to prevent it looking like you have a leak to the safety valve. more info here:
