So I am demoing Promash to see if I want to buy it. I've been using the online recipe builder at Hopville and some other online mash calculator but am ready for something more.

I've opened a new brewing session and changed the boil back and forth from 60 minutes to 90 minutes. Then going to the water needed section the amount of water I will need is the same between a 60 minute boil and a 90 minute boil. Obviously with a 90 minute boil you actually need more water. Is this a mistake in Promash or am I missing something?

It allows one to change the percentage of boil loss per hour. It's either a percentage , or you can choose gal per hour. Look under default settings.

I'm not a pro at Promash, but it seems to work well for me.
