FastRack does not have any instructions on how to prime a batch using their FastFerment. I emailed them and they suggested posting the question on this forum.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

I didn't find anything in my forum search before posting.

Thank you!

I just bought a FastFerment and was going to use it for a batch this weekend, so while I haven't tried it yet, here is my plan:
1) After the krausen dies down, remove some trub via the collection ball
2) When the target SG is reach, remove the remaining trub via the collection ball
3) Boil water, add priming sugar and let cool while covered with foil
4) Add the cooled priming sugar liquid via the opening on the top.
5) Stir with my brewing spoon to gently mix the priming sugar liquid in without adding much oxygen
6) Bottle straight from the FastFerment with a bottling wand

Hope that helps!

Good information. If anyone else has some feedback about using the FastFerment I would be thankful to hear about it!
