Pressure canned starter wort...now it's super dark

I pressure canned about 3 gallons of starter wort for the first time recently. Everything seemed to work out, but the wort came out super dark and has a lot of hot break material. Is this normal?

Yes on both counts! It's nothing to worry about.

I pressure can my starter wort too. Mine does the same thing. Nothing to worry about. It does appear to have a lot of hot break in the jars.
