I am about to keg my "Goat Sass" Belgian Blonde and I would like to save as much of the yeast as possible for another belgian, but I don't want to brew it now.

Can i scoop/coerce the yeast out of the carboy into a sanitized jar and save it for a week or so in the fridge?

Then I'll add some wort and reactivate it a day before my next brewday.

Will this work or is there a better way?

Its Wyeast 1214 BTW.
