I did it twice, just to make sure, using a 4 cup (1 qt) measuring cup. I made a stick and made a mark every gallon & half gallon. First time it was right at the top at 6-1/2 gal. 2nd time I had about a 1/4 inch once I got to the 6-1/2 gallon mark.

The burner is good and strong, but it has a 15 min timer. As someone mentioned, these are apparently easy to remove? I'm interested if someone could try it and demonstrate.

Also, there's no adjustment. It's either on or off. So that may be why I got such a high boil off in one hour.

??? ON or OFF? never heard of that before? So you can not regulate the temp at all? Sounds really weird. But maybe thats because of that 15 minute timer? If thats the case, I think I may be sending it back.

I could regulate the temperature on mine perfectly fine. The 15 minute timer is kind of annoying, but I would just set it back to 15 minutes every time I'd check on it. So far I'm happy with the product personally.

Ok, I feel kinda dumb now. There IS a way to regulate the gas, but it was back on the regulator.

Hence the name I guess?

Still not happy with the size of the pot, but discovering the temp adjustment makes of feel a little better.

Man! This has been a bad/weird brewday...

It's got a nice strong flame when it's on high (which it was for 3/4 of my boil, heh...) so I'm sure it would work.

That's what I plan on doing, getting another larger BK and using this for the HLT.

I'll check the exact BTU's if I have it later...

Well I'm sure it's not one of those Banjo Burners that are like 10" around ?

My guess would be about 4" around.

I guess I will have to find out when I get mine.

That was my plan to use the pot "30 Qts. !!" as a HLT kettle. and this new 15 gal pot as a BK. I all ready have many coolers to convert to a mash tun. I have not done an AG batch yet. This will be my 1st attempt.

I still have a little bit of work to make it happen.

1 piece was this turkey fryer kit.
