Possible infection?/Take a look.

My 5 gallon carboy with 100% uv apple cider and 2 cups of sugar and 1 pack of Nottingham has developed a interesting amber foam that appeared overnight. The white froth on the outer rim has been there from the start. do you think it is infected and if so what can I do to fix it.

Looks like some yeast got carried up higher. No problem. It's fine.

Whew, thought my baby was sick. Glad to hear it in good shape. Should I agitate it to stir up the yeast or don't touch it.

Agreed. The only time I'll swirl mine around to aerate is if nothing is happening after a day or two.
