hey guys.. found a listing for a free "small fridge" on craigslist.. here's a pic of the fridge

ad says "It is bigger than the mini "dorm room" things, but I don't have exact measurements as I write this post. It is about 34" high."

if that 34" is interior measurements that should be good to go for possibly holding 2 corny kegs in the future right? i'm gonna drive and check it out tomorrow but i haven't ever seen a corny keg so wondering what the inside dimensions roughly should be to hold at LEAST 1 corny.. thanks

Cornies (going on memory) are about 9' diameter, and you will need ~28 for the height. The freezer should be able to be bent down so it is along the back of the fridge, and the inner door removed for a little more clearance. You can size easily if you make two round cardboard cut out circles that are 9' to see if you can fit two. Hope this helps!

I have one around that size that I am in the process of converting. It almost fits 2 cornies, I just need to cut off the shelf holders on each side that are protrude about a half inch. Also you will need to cut off the door shelves and bend the freezer down. (carefully)

Bend the freezer down (carefully) as posted; If you lift up the door seal, you'll more then likely see screws. Once you take them out (take note of where you unscrewed them in case they are different lengths), you can simply remove the inner door plastic and screw back in the seal. Other people have replaced it with dry erase or chalk board to keep track of their brews. A lot cleaner look, and actually easier then cutting all that plastic (and less messy!).

*EDIT* Do a search on Sanyo 4912 conversions, there are pictures detailing this. */EDIT*

I also had to cut the inner door off. Actually I cut the inner circle off, then pried it off. Then pried off the outer ring. I used the outer ring as a template for my new inner panel. I used a left over piece of counter top fermica for the inner panel.

30" should be enough. I had to bend my freexer down and add a 2x4 to the front so I could get 2 cornies in it. The fridge works fantastic. I put it on a med to low tmep and could get it down to 30 degrees.
