Portable Propane Tankless Water Heater?

Was visiting a nanobrewery over the weekend and they were using a propane fired tankless water heater similar to this...http://www.basspro.com/Eccotemp-L5-...15_11126_5282bc6ce4b006f67e9550a9_34345549471

They said it works much more efficiently and is faster than heating water in a HLT via direct fire. Just curious if anyone else uses something like this.

I like that idea!! Only issue i would see with that particular model is temps only to 150. But i guess since that heats it so fast, you could go directly into the kettle and get to your strike temp pretty fast! Interesting! thanks for sharing!

I got one of these for my camp awhile back and was thinking of trying the same thing. Wondering if anyone else has tried it to at least kick off the water heating for brew day.

Hmmm ... thinking it would be sweet to feed it ro water held in a barrel via a sump pump. Maybe even as small as a big aquarium pump. Thoughts?
