I've been planning on this for a while, and I would love everyone to poke holes in my idea to help me only build this once!
I want to take an Igloo wheeled cooler, have a 2.5 gallon mini-keg inside, 4-5 feet of beer line (to allow the reduction of foaming from the connector), then a faucet drilled through the side of the cooler with a shank on the front. I will use a 20 oz. Paintball CO2 cylinder with a mini reg for pressure (not intended for carbing, only dispensing). And then just pour a bunch of ice inside the cooler to keep it nice & cold.
Equipment List:
Coleman 50-Qt Cooler (http://bit.ly/24yZFog)
2.5 Gallon Keg
Paintball Tank Regulator (http://bit.ly/1QAXP1b)
Chrome Self-Closing Faucet (help prevent accidental spills)
Faucet Shank
Gas/Liquid Ball-Lock Connectors/5-foot beer line/gas line
Am I missing anything? Will this work? The goal is to be able to take my homebrew out to the pool, to a friend's place, or anywhere that I'd want more than a growler but not my whole kegerator.
