Once my keg carbed to desire, how many refills will I need for a 5 gallon keg ?
Fortuneteller said:As long as you don't leak from the picnic tap, you won't even go through one. The cartridge won't hold on it's own very long though once opened. Think mine made it 2 days after opening. It's cheap plastic after all.
So after esch serving I should untap my gas ??

Fortuneteller said:A little clarification to my comment. I didn't mean to disconnect the cartridge. I meant that I learned the hard way to disconnect the gas ball lock and put it in my pocket so I could monitor pressure myself. The gas gun is apparently so mesmerizing to people that everyone wanted to squeeze it before a pour.
The last time I took a corny to a party, it arrive with 12 psi from my system. I think I connected my Co2 gun twice before we kicked the keg. It's not rocket surgery.![]()
If you remove the disconnect with the gun attached it shouldnt leak, but this is specifically NOT recommended in the directions that came with my charger. I don't see why it wouldn't work, but that's what my directions said.
