Hey all, I just finished building my fermentation chamber and I am exceptionally happy with the outcome except for one thing... My portable air conditioner has to have the power button pushed every time it is connected to power in order to turn on. What this means is the ink bird temperature controller I have wont work because as soon as it cuts the power and re-engages it the unit will have power but doesn't turn on until I push the power button.... Does anyone know of any solutions to fix this? Am I SOL?

Thanks

Alex

If you can locate the thermostat, you could disconnect it and run its "goes into" and "comes outta" wires through the cold-side relay on your Inkbird...

Cheers!

Hmm... I didn't think of that. What I'm leading towards right now is buying an arduino, relay shield, and temp probe and then solder the relay right to the momentary power switch on my air conditioner

Well the only problem is that this unit triples as a dehumidifier and heater so the wiring is quite complicated... At least for me. But it's easy for me to find the power button on the board and solder in the wires.. Idk I'm still deciding.

Thanks!
