polyethylene carboy option?

I have seen this listing on eBay multiple times and wondered if this would be a good alternative to a glass carboy. does anyone have an opinion?

Can't seem to access the link with my cell phone. If what you are thinking of is the P.E.T. carboys, then yes they work, but have there positives and negatives, just as glass does. Do a Search here on the forum for the subject. There have been several great discussions you can read!

Seems like a pricey alternative. I use the blue 5 gallon water jugs you can get at lowes/walmart. Been using them for like 5 years now without problems or off flavors.

Not for 20 bucks! A glass one will run 17 at LHBS...
