Point Cascade Pale- Tap vs. Bottles

Last weekend I was out at a restaurant and I ordered a couple of pints of Point Brewery's Cascade Pale Ale. I liked it a lot. It had a noticable taste of Cascade hops and was just generally pretty good. When I got home I went out and picked up a sixer of bottles of the stuff. Tried one and.... blah.

Didn't even taste like the same stuff as the draft variety. No noticable hops flavor or aroma at all. Not a bad beer, but just not even the same.

Anyone else experience this with this, or another commercial brew?

Had this on tap at the Hopleaf here in Chicago a week ago. At 3 bucks a pint, i was amazed how good it is.

Havent had bottles, but i had my local liquor store order a case for me, so i'll let you know

Stevens point is one of my new favs. I can't believe we can get it here, but it is so good. I really like the cascade pale and maibock, the special lager tasted like Coors OG to me, but was very clean. I have yet to try the rest, maybe the amber tonight?

Funny, but this happened to my own Pale Ale in which I used only Cascades. When I sampled about a week after bottling the beer had a strong citrusy Cascade nose. After I let it age just another week, the hop nose is very faint. I'm not sure if this is a trait of Cascades, or maybe just the difference between super fresh beer, and not-so-fresh.
