I think beersmith uses 75% for brewhouse efficiency.. What program are you using? Are they asking for brewhouse efficiency or mash efficiency?

I use Beer Recipator. It asks for mash efficiency.
Whats the differance betewwn mash / brewhouse efficiency?

dood -- why are you doing a partial mash with a five gallon cooler?

I've jammed 14 lbs. of grain into mine. Don't worry about mashing too thick. It will be fine.
