Recently tasted a plum wheat at Capitol City Brewing in DC. I am hoping to make something similar (not necessarily clone), and wondered if anyone had any input as to how I incorporate the plummy goodness? I am new to brewing, and figured on finding a decent-looking wheat recipe and throwing in the fruit as needed.
I was thinking I could use prunes to get the flavor (as well as extra fermentables). Should I do that in the primary or secondary?
Any advice appreciated.
