I did a PtE clone using 3 Amarillo hotshots fromNB. 1 at FWH, 1 at 60 min, 1 at 45 min - basically replacing the CTZ bittering additions. Came out tasting and smelling great, but with a really strong Amarillo hop presence (tangerine?).
this beast is still a bubbling after five days since pitching. i haven't experienced this before. can't wait to try it.
I will say, for anyone who has used dried full hops before in a recipe and decide to do the same with this one, make sure to use a bag for the hops or have a false bottom/filter in the boil pot because we clogged almost immediately. we did a 10G batch and added the 2lbs with no bag and had to use a strainer to get our wort out!
