I don’t have a dog in the fight anymore so I’m pulling for the Caps and Vegas. Would love to see Vegas do well on their inaugural year and I’d love to see Ovechkin get a shot.

Exactly! Anyway we dropped the first game against the Bruins and then won four straight! We are just getting a feel for them! Man the Caps look great tonight, gotta give them some credit, just outplaying us.

Yea it was all caps. Lightning showed a little push in the 3rd, but overall the better team was the Caps.

G'Knights did what they needed to do - took a game on the opponent ice.
I was in and out on the game but the Jets seemed even more out of it for most of the game...

Well it's been a rough two games against the Caps..... Instead of peaking the Lightning are flat. What a shame to shut down now after coming so far this season and after playing so intensely in the other play off games. Now if they find their legs and skate tonight and just shoot some pucks at the dam net, and the defense doesn't get caught in the offensive zone so much, they could turn it around. We will see. Come on guys!

Feels like the lightning will lose in 4 after those first two. I had tickets to game two but I was a little freaked, and it was mothers day, ended up going to the cinema with wife and daughter to see Overboard. Perfect mothers day movie. We went early, I didn't miss the game.

BUT, I think things change tonight.

Doubt Washington is going to get back in this one...

I thought Jets were the better team actually - at least in the 3rd period, where they probably should have netted a few goals. Yep, all Fleury.

Worst game I’ve ever seen. Mainly because my entire life I’ve considered Patrick Roy to be the best netminder to ever have played the game. Flower changed my opinion last night. It’s like the day I found out about Santa all over again.

I thought Jets were the better team actually - at least in the 3rd period, where they probably should have netted a few goals. Yep, all Fleury.

Vegas was equally dominate in the first period. The score easily could have have been 3-0 and 2-0 after the first period, but somehow Vegas only netted 1. Sometimes luck is a factor.... like an errant shot hits the back of a stick, bounces off the back of a guys leg, and sneaks into the goal.

I was very surprised the Jets didn't take that game to OT though.

How about Fleury's "Wet Wheeler" move? Definitely the play of the game.

Great series so far between the Knights and the Jets. There is nothing like the intensity of play off hockey!

Where he dove across the net to stop the second rapid shot from Scheifele? Yea, that was superb. Of course, I will save that the save of the year was from the TB goalie...

Yessir. Dark passage, but the lightning saw the glint of hope on the other side and they have transcended. With the series tied, I am pumped to see them come back home.

That was a great third period - each side had chunks of clock where it looked like they'd score any moment - but the Bolts had one more play than the Caps.
I'm happy the series is tied. More great hockey to watch!
