Is it possible to store beer after fermentation in a plastic keg like in the picture? Carbonating it with adding sugar?

Heck... My first thought was that it wouldn't hold the pressure and the lid would blow open
Seems like a pretty valid concern too. It doesn't necessarily look like those lids are threaded. That might be the first thing for OP to consider, since the other stuff won't matter if those don't hold the pressure.

I guess if he tries and that goes wrong then the lids pop open and they can figure that out, though. If it's going to react to an acidic solution like beer then that's going to be a sneakier, more insidious problem.

@canerak, if you think it will hold pressure then definitely look for answers to the questions from @day_trippr. If you don't know then I wouldn't risk it.

Also, I have one last question for you. How the heck would you plan to serve carbed beer out of those? Maybe I'm missing something, but if you naturally carb then you'd still want exogenous CO2 to push it, right. I see one single spigot... Maybe it'd work somewhat, but I'm not sure how well
