I was cleaning the last of my new kegs today and found the gas in tube is plastic and a different diameter than the 6 others I have. I checked a few kegging sites to see if I could find one like it but no luck.

Does anyone else have one? Were you able to get a replacement? I'll try and get a pic of it later when my wife gets home with the camera.

Thanks
John

I'm willing to bet you have an older firestone type keg with the nylon dip tube. All I can say is good luck, this question came about a few weeks ago and I searched internet sites up and down trying to help the guy out. Couldn't find anything.

Looks like there might be a workaround.
Check here.

This [ame="http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rls=DKUS,DKUS:2006-45,DKUS:en&q=nylon+firestone+dip+tube"]google search[/ame] basically said the same thing. (Please don't think I am saying you should have searched to begin with, I provided the link only to help). I checked the Williams Brewing catalog that I have, and they are not available. The Grape and Granary site doesn't list them either, but maybe you could contact them directly.

Good Luck.

Well I just bought this so I'm sending it back. They can deal with it I was hoping there was an easy fix to save some trouble. I figured it was cheaper to buy the replacement part than to ship it back but if they are near impossible to find i'll send it back. Maybe I can get a nice credit towards another one and just drill it out
