Funny, I was also going to put IV in the realm of backwoods and wulver, which means I thought it was ******* phenomenal. Backwoods is still my favorite Founders beer (with the possible exception of black biscuit, which I remember loving, but is forever lost to my aging, beer-drowned memory), and I think I slightly preferred wulver to backwoods. If anyone got bottles of IV and wants to, we should definitely try a side-by-side-by-side.

I got a IV for that action.

Every time I read something positive about the OG tenacious wee bottles it makes me think that I got pranked.

Ive drank a couple beers in my life...and to this day both of them were the only beers I ever come across that smelled like catfish stink bait.

OG Tenacious Wees were phenomenal when I had them. Seriously might have been some of the best BRC beers ever, and so under the radar.

Liked, assuming “beanz” is an auto-correct for beers.

Otherwise, I don’t know what the ****....

Where’s my boy McMatt7 - I’m lost without him in here. **** don’t make no sense without my pgh thread compass.

He wants dat 'nilla

Oh, okay. Yes, I would also like some voodoo barrel aged coffee beans please. Thank you.

Seems odd that it's a light/medium roast, but **** it. YOLO.
I didn’t get the love for Happy Mug for a long time. Their darker roasts taste like straight dirt. After some encouragement I went with some lighter roasts and have really enjoyed them.

I think BA scotch ales/wee heavies age weird. They can get a cola-like flavor. Anyone else ever notice that?
I got that cola thing from Wulver big time on several occasions. Never been able to tie it to age of the beer personally. I got a love/hate thing with that beer. Backwoods on the other hand is an all time favorite if under 2 yrs old.

I know you and I discussed that. I still go with the more medium range blends, but stay away from the darkest end of the spectrum. *insert racist joke here*

It's ok to be wrong. Don't let your failures define you.

Going for food and a drinking wander about tonight over in Larryville. Suggestions from the peanut gallery? I never go over there so I know nothing. I know we're starting at some place called New Amsterdam.
