Someone said 40 partials left. Do I roll the dice on driving out now from harmarville?

Almost wish I trekked out there. I've noticed that Pittsburgh likes lines, so I figured it would be spoken by the time I would be able to get there, but looks like that wasn't the case. Of course, I would only have wasted an allotment by drinking it instead of trying to trade it for a small nation's GDP, so maybe its for the best.

Yeah I wouldn't have made it anyway. I'm gonna mark this a win since I'm drinking half off headhunter drafts instead of driving all the way to homestead just to strike out.

Already saw some peckerheads razzling an allotment. Through a proxy of course like the fuckboi **** heads that they are.

Im not criticizing voodoo for their release format as I think the process works well, but 8 bottles of 3 beers? What's the harm in doing 798 full allotments, 1 of all 3 beers. 281 allotments with both BBQF & BBBM. Then sell the remaining 118 bottles of BBBM. I feel like 1 bottle limits are becoming the norm these days. Seems like getting beer into 1197 people's hands is better than 399.

Kinda thought the allotments were a little wonky too, but oh well.

It's a no win situation, trying to balance the desire to get bottles to as many people and trying to satisfy the customers who like to drink a bottle now and age a bottle or two for science. Short of growing large enough to produce enough that everyone can get multiple bottles on the day of release you are going to have people unsatisfied, and even once you reach that point you still won't please everyone.

If forced to choose one, I would probably prefer the opportunity to get multiple bottles even if it means I may miss out sometimes (full disclosure, I've missed more than I've hit since moving here). There is just something nice about being able to have a beer that I really enjoy and having another that I can take back home to share with people that would otherwise never get an opportunity. And quite frankly, the craft beer industry has reached a point that you don't need to go out of your way to get a great beer, even though it may be hard to find ones quite as good as these. The hassle and lines I've seen people deal with...might as well "reward" them with more bottles for their efforts. I may have missed out this time, but as I sit here sipping on a bourbon and rye barrel aged stout from Night Shift that had bottles last a couple days, well, I really have no regrets.

Anywho, I was just left wondering when we're gonna see the K13. I was wrongly presuming it was gonna show up in this BRC, so I guess that monsta is spending some pretty significant time in barrels.

At this point I kinda hope they do it as a one off 2 bottle per random release at some point... But I'm guessing we'll be waiting until next winter before it makes an appearance.

Big Butte Queef Farter is a little redundant, don't you think?

Edit- *Queefarter

No bottles for Brew Gentlemen Valentine's this year? I guess everyone will just have to score some ass instead.

I know! Bummer. Was hoping the hole in my liver from missing Brukfust would have been filled. Likely have some tasty stuff on tap and also Sousafood so I'm not unhappy at all.

I saw that already (posted it in the baseball thread since I know no one in here cares). Nothing will become of it. They'll show that they spent all their money on their training facilities which they are allowed to do...and nothing will happen.
