I've seen stale **** at the usual stale **** places, but to my knowledge it's not legitimately here. Because if it was legitimately here I wouldn't be able to post this as my face would be buried under a Pivo faucet.

Unfortunately, once you get saturated with FW, it's hard to find fresh FW.

Luckily, I know a new Luponic Distortion release happens every 90 days, so I bang on those. That series has been a revelation. I buy those constantly, then just hope I catch a fresh drop of Pivo, Union Jack, or even Easy Jack.

Let me know when you go somewhere good and I might join you, iight?

I keed, I keed.

Sorry, Laffy Taffy, I couldn't hear you over the roar of Dancing Gnome DIPA* swishing around in my mouth & being moved to my stomach by my esophageal muscles.

* That's what I call **** sometimes. DIPA.**

** Now is not one of those times.

I didn't try either of their anniversary beers. A denizen of this thread though who I know and trust (I won't out him) told me they were both doo-doo butter.

I swear to McMatt7's shriveled liver, if Boat Shoes has been ramming Eliot Ness down my throat when there's FW to be had I will burn down the entire South Side

If you think i'd keep Pivo a secret from you, you don't know me very well. All the things that we've been through, you should understand me, like i understand you. Now girl i know the difference, between right and wrong, and i ain't gonna do nothing, to break up our happy home. Ohhhhhhh don't get so excited, when i come home a little late at night, cause you know we only act like children, when we argue fuss and fight eh hey.

Havent had the stout yet, but the DIPA was a love hate thing for me. Flavor was nice but the backend was so ******* bitter I felt like I swallowed a teaspoon of bitrex. Im quick to **** on a beer, but rarely will I actually dump one cuz I hate wasting booze and Im a drunk, but the last 1/3 of the can went down the drain.

Just cracked the Impy Stout. It's much better than the DIPA. A little more dark fruit character than I would normally like, but it drinks really big for only being 9%. Tos of dark chocolate. I would sip on these all winter if I could.

I'm sure drinking it was far more painful.

Nah, I've had a lot of terrible beers. Have a pain tolerance for that experience. Saying something this negative about a Voodoo BRC beer hurts more. I say this without hesitation.

My two cents:

1. Honestly, I think this could have still been okay if they babysat the beer a bit more and yanked it after just subtle barrel flavor absorption.

2. No way in **** they should have charged $20 for it. Sometimes you need to eat it for a mistake and this should have been one of those times.

All that said, I will buy the next hot sauce BA beer they release regardless of cost, because I know Curt won't make the same mistake twice.

I've gotten that kinda harsh astringency off some of their very freshly canned releases (first run of Highway really seemed to have it), but it usually mellows by a week-ish. Just popped my first Robot can this evening & didn't find that at all.

If you don't like bitter neipas, stay away from the new helltown neipa
