Popped in to the Hitchhiker soft opening last night and really enjoyed the vibe and beer. First time having any of jagoffbrewer's creations and I'll say I don't understand the disdain some seem to have for his beer (though perhaps this has passed or been overplayed). They don't strike me as beers that will tickle the scrotum of your average neckbeard, but my wife and I shared pints of Whole Punch: Dreamsicle, Floriculture (IPA w/ rose hips), and The Shakes (coffee porter) - all were highly approachable, balanced, and delicious. Live across the river in Highland Park and anticipate popping in fairly often after can pickups at DG or on slow evenings when we're looking for something to do. Congrats to the Hitchhiker team and thanks for setting up shop on this side of the tunnel.

Good Vibes fest was initially teased for this year at Carrie Furnace. Got pushed back, clearly. Supposed to be beer and music fest. Too bad the owners like Sublime...

Oh yeah, didn't even think of that one. Just meant cause of all the South Park references, though I guess being into Les Claypool isn't necessarily a foregone conclusion.

Yes - confirmed as my favorite DG can release to date. However, Creases is the one beer I could drink without tiring.

Nah. My Untappd research revealed that it was some kind of coffee stout (which I choose not to rate), and also that us PGH folk are the weepy sort.
