I'll usually stop by if I'm in the area. There was a lot of excitement about it on FB, just surprised it wasn't all hyped up on here per usual, with a little snark sprinkled in there.

For as critical of bg as I can be sometimes, I won't hesitate to give them praise for iii. Had it for the first time last night and it was a very lifely bw. A little thin on the finish but otherwise every bit as good as the best bws I've had.

Good seeing you there Mike. There was something about that original pilot batch of Brukfust. I told Rjdillman that no barrel or adjuncts was needed with that beer. I thought this latest iteration was a decadent treat.

I was near there on Saturday so I stopped by Dancing Gnome to grab a few growlers when they opened. They still had OG Jam cans available so I got a 4-pack of it as well. Finally got to try Spy Dolphin and thought it was good, but didn't match up to B1 or 2 which is my favorite DIPA from them. IMHO Mosaic Jam > Galaxy Jam >>> Jam.

I honestly thought OG Jam was borderline undrinkable. I haven't had mosaic, but I enjoyed the galaxy version a good bit.

And thanks again for the pour after I struck out. I really, really liked the pilot batch. Not a knock on the recent version so much as nostalgia for that one. I know it's not feasible at the moment but I'd love to see that in bottles.

It means a brewery with a notable barrel aging program couldn't find a use for a dozen barrels.
