I don't know much about them. I'm pissed I missed converge and neurosis the other day. Sold out.

Neurosis were better than I could have ever imagined. Also, one of the loudest bands that I have ever seen. Up there with Khanate.

Quicksand will be great and so will Kamasi Washington in November. This year's concert calendar is going to destroy me.

I saw converge and Neurosis last night in Toronto. Only my second time seeing neurosis but man, they rule.

Great I feel even worse now. I didn't even hear about the show til a few days before and it was long sold out at that point.

I was reminded how tasty Founder's All Day IPA is when it is fresh the other night. I need to keep my eyes open for fresh cans when I am beer shopping.

Saw this in pounder cans the other day too (maybe this has been a thing for a while, but first time seeing it here).

I just drank my last No Rules on Sunday. You want to talk about sweet...
One of the sweetest beers I've had, like DL to the third. Never again.

If anyone missed out on Etch but is getting Spy Dolphin, I'd love to swap a 4 pack. Also, did anyone try the new Roundabout IPA?

Sorry to harp on this etre thing, but I just checked out the site again and am not seeing a way to reserve beers. I can put stuff in my cart, but I'm pretty sure that's not actually reserving said bottles for me if someone else comes along and buys them before I pull the trigger. Can anyone teach an old man how to internet here?

I understood previous comments regarding "reserving" to mean that you had to buy them but they just held onto them until you were ready to ship?

Yeah, you have to buy them. Put a few bottles in your cart and checkout. If the bottles are over 25 Euro, you will not have to pay a reservation fee. If they are under 25 Euro, you will have to pay a dollar for the fee. Pay via paypal, then they will send you an order confirmation. Easy Joey Porter (J-Peezy).

Shipping rates go up from 78 Euro once you get above 38 kg. They give you the weights of each bottle on the site. Add 15% on top of the weight for shipping material. For reference, 11 75cl bottles of 3F OG or 12 bottles of 'Tome will fill a box.

Sorry to hear that. I hope he makes it up to you, but I'm assuming we probably won't hear from him again.

Thanks man...but considering he has not logged in since 7/3, which was about when I started bugging him...and has not read any messages on either site...AND his phone seems to be disconnected...yeah, I agree.

The simplest explanation is most often the correct one...

...and he has accepted a Rhodes Scholarship, moved abroad, and is now teaching English at Oxford.

How was this not more obvious to me..

that's stupid. what are you on the hook for?

Also, stop being so ******* nice.

While there's no doubt this dude is now a turd in my book (not just for flaking on a BIF, but also for dicking over someone who vouched for him), I probably shouldn't have publicly recruited for the league. I had never transactionally interacted with the guy, so I really should have chosen more carefully from the pool of fine Pittsburgh folk in this thread who have proven to be transactionally sound.

So, you know...not at all my bad, but partially my bad.

He seemed like a good dude. But you get jokes at your expense when you back out of a BIF. He broke Man's Law. God's Law. Seth's Law. Murphy's Law.....Law and Order.

MooseLang - just curious...are you drinking already? Or is this Friday giddiness I'm detecting from your posts?
