I've always been partial to twatwaffle as the assonance gives it a more musical quality.

In phonaesthetics, the English compound noun cellar door twatwaffle has been cited as an example of a word or phrase which is beautiful purely in terms of its sound (euphony), without regard for semantics. It has been variously presented either as merely one beautiful instance of many, or as the most beautiful in the English language; as the author's personal choice, that of an eminent scholar's, or of a foreigner who does not speak the language. The original instance of this observation has not been discovered, although it was made as early as 1903.

This is awesome if true.

$50 bottles of Madam Rose!

Shrug. If they aren't priced competitively then I just go back to Whole Foods. No biggie.

I was just being smarmy. I probably won't go much since I live in Allison Park now, but if this had happened when I lived in McCandless I would probably be there often.

Selling beer is bad and anyone who either buys it, or sells it, ZERO TOLERANCE, is a cuntwaffle.

Second House of 1k Beers location opening in the Norf Hills by Labriola's Eyetalian Market in Warrendale. October of this year is the ETA.
Didn't some one say that a while ago

It's been rumored and shot down before. Seems to be coming to fruition this time.

I posted an article in here a while back that alluded to it...Nate, I believe, confirmed they were "looking into the general area"...but this is the most specific info to date.

Whole hell of a lot of good this location is gonna do me now...

Got some Hoodoo bottles from the giant iggle friday.. nowhere near as good as from the tap. I was disappointed.

Look for a date? Depending on the Eagle, who knows how long they had been sitting there.

I looked but couldnt find one on there. It was the big Market District by SHV mall, so I dont imagine it was very old. There were only like 6 4 packs there.

Thank god for Whole Foods South Hills. That GE used to be decent but it went down hill in a hurry. Btw, I really wish Voodoo would bottle date. I love me some good vibes but I never buy it due to a lack of dates.

Yup. I don't buy anything hoppy without dates anymore. I was out this weekend looking for a case of hops for a party and there were cases of hoppy beer dated back to 20fucking14. Those places should be shuttered.

The upside to local breweries' hoppy beer selling out so fast is at least you know it's fresh.

The Peters GE had bombers from when Port Brewing first shipped its IPAs to Pa for like 2 years on the shelf. The GE Express on 19 regularly sells Headhunter with dates that are 6+ months old. I called them on it once and they looked at me like I was a complete a-hole. While that part is true, it's not because I called them out on old beer. I guess the more people that buy stuff at GE, the more good stuff is left for the rest of us at other locations.

Any of you ninjas been to the Southern Tier spot on the north side for dinner? I know what the beer is all about, but what about the food?

Not dinner but I was there for breakfast on opening day and everything our table had was really good.

Did the same thing this weekend in Maryland. Best I found was 3 week Double Duckpin and another Citra IPA from a maryland brewery that was just under a month.

Went for lunch. Had some appetizers, they were good
