Went around 8. It was packed but I walked away with a few sixers. Thought Hazedelic was quite good and the lupulin IPA they had on was pretty good as well.

FYI, Siberian Highway is tits, but it doesn't require an insulin shot, so Bruery fanboys will probably hate it.

On a side note, Roundabout Kaleidascope IPA is straight dank orange juice.

BIG THANKS to everyone from Helltown, Insurrection, Mindful, Spoonwood, Southern Tier and voodoobrewery who donated their time and beer yesterday to support the third annual Barnyard Beer Benefit at Gilfillan Farm. We had over 400 people contributing to a good cause while stuffing their faces, drinking their fill and jamming out to some rad music. In addition to several generous food sponsors who aren't TBers, the Foodoo truck made an appearance and handed out some delicious tacos. Most of the breweries have been there all three years and, because of their generosity, we look to break the 20k donation mark set last year (every penny goes to the farm).

While I personally patronize these fine establishments anyway, next time you tip you glass back at one of these breweries--feel extra good about yourself for supporting a local place that supports us locally.

BG III is phenomenal. Getting a good bit of maple to go with standard BW notes...and a nice dose of barrel as well. If it were just a bit thicker I could see it being compared to BCBW; the flavor profile is similar. If I didn't know who brewed this and you gave me voodoo and BG as my choices, I would guess Voodoo. and that's an equal compliment to both breweries.

TLDR - I need more of this. Send me yours and I will send you my beer in return.

I really liked II, but I have an abnormal love for old ales...and I think the fact that it completely surprised me with its quality factors heavily into my love for it. That was also the beer that really got me thinking that BG might be to do something other than IPAs.

All that said, III is a clear notch above II.

It's a bit of an anti-beer fest beer fest--eight ounce pours and no rar whalez, but, after my wife and I run ourselves ragged with all the planning (not to mention physical set up and tear down) over a period of weeks (months?), it's nice to chill as it all comes together. Weather held out this year too and once again these breweries were awesome with their generosity.
