Probably. The description said some **** about local foraging or something.

Last fall we foraged more than usual in our local area for heavily rooted indigenous critters. We really wanted to highlight our local beer culture, it's diversity and our unique Western Pennsylvania flora. Throughout the fermenting and aging process, we began to notice the extent of unique aromas and flavors these organisms native to our local area were capable of producing and decided to create hybrid ales, using our local terroir. We sourced grain from our good friends at Appalachian Malting in Portage, PA and we are eagerly awaiting this years crop of locally grown hops to incorporate into this project.

Two things:

1) "Local" doesn't necessarily mean "better"

2) Microbes (that will ferment wort) are basically the same all over the world. Especially at similar latitudes/climates.

You can put "foraged" on the list of hipster craft beer nerd lingo that drives me ******* crazy...

2) Microbes (that will ferment wort) are basically the same all over the world. Especially at similar latitudes/climates.

This...kinda...was my immediate thought when I read that stupid ass description. I challenge Dennis to a blind tasting where 1 out of 4 beers has local Western PA bugs and the rest are just similar beers brewed with other **** from elsewhere. Guarantee that his funky highness fails miserably...

Feeling extra cranky today...too much EE, Pizza Boy and DL talk prolly.

My friend's aunt told me that Al from Pizza Boy uses Hunt's Ketchup and Kraft Mustard on his Value Time Luncheon Loaf sandwiches so i was all like **** YOU DIPSHIT

Hunt's>Heinz. That is all.

Hop Madness is a decent IIPA, a bit old school, a bit crystal malty, a bit overly bitter, you'll probably love it.

I  barleywine-ish IIPAs.

Not really, but old school Ruination, Arrogant Bastard, Avery Hog Heaven, and Great Divide Hercules have a certain place in my heart.

preluderl and PSUMike , do you eat french fries plain or dip em in ranch or what? and what do you put on burgers or chicken tendies?

not talkin ****, just genuinely curious.

PSUMike altered preluderl 's original comment without bolding it (I was confused at first too). This is (so far) only known to be PSUMike 's bizarre lifestyle choice.
