Holy **** that was amazing. I wish I had known you guys were there cause I was in the balcony and had an $80 bar credit to spend. So towards the end of the set I was just handing out Two Hearteds to people around me.

Also Matt and Al lost a lot of weight. And Matt Pike might have a glandular problem - sweatiest man I've ever seen.

Also, Windhand sucks.
I had to get up at 530am for work so I didn't do much drinking last night. It's been a rough morning anyway from getting in late and having an infant. Wind hand sounded like an ok local band. And the sleep merch was so good, but I decided to buy the only shirt that didn't have a bong on it

I mean he's no Ron Swanson but I'm still a fan.

Yuengling getting smacked with a heavy fee for polluting the water: In a consent decree filed today in federal court in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, the company has agreed to spend approximately $7 million to improve environmental measures at its brewery operations after it allegedly discharged pollutants into the Greater Pottsville Area Sewer Authority municipal wastewater treatment plant. Yuengling will also pay a $2.8 million penalty.

I think the non-fruited sours and brett beers would do fine in a cellar. Non-adjunct bba stuff and barleywines should be fine to age. No way I would drink BBA Bigfoot fresh. Also parabola with a few years on it is so freakin good.

I know it's a joke among some round here, but man do I love Mad Elf that's a couple of years old.

What is the joke? Freal, don't know it.

Seems to be found in flights, of like four to maybe seven years worth, once a year. Last year did a tour and think the three years old iteration was the highlight for me. Really mellows out and isn't as obnoxious at the fresh batches, which I don't much like. Fresh Naked Elf > Mad Elf.

Also, looking forward to Wild Elf, which should drop later this year? But maybe that's wrong and it won't be until they finish their expansion.

Ive just seen people make jokes about bringing aged Mad Elf to shares and such.

Wild Elf was supposed to be released this month, but I've not seen anything about it.

Now on tap Cinnamon Toast Crunch Milk Stout! A classic American milk stout aged on 43lbs of Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal. 6%abv
I would have thought they would use a combination of grains/adjuncts to replicate rather than straight up use the cereal.
43lbs no wonder I couldn't find any at Walmart this week

I am sure london1o1 has some vintage Mad Elf sitting around for ya. I know we cracked a bottle to compare to a fresh one last time it came out.

I personally like Huna with some age on it. The cinnamon is too overpowering for me when fresh.

Had a bottle of 2013 the other day and most of the great flavor dynamic had faded into a wash. It was a shell of its former self.

On the topic of older motherfuckin beers, i drank a 2014 Insanity, a 2015 BA Bigfoot, a Brew Gents One (20??), and Sunday Mornin Stout (20??) last night and they were all pretty dope. If i had to rank em i'd roll with the Bigfoot, then BG, then Insanity, then SMS. Should have checked myself tho, i'm feeling loopy today.

For the record, i was watching synch'd diving and gymnastics. Holla at your boy

I'm proud of you for even waking up this morning after that.
