I'll be the first to say I can't wait for Brukfust to be brewed on the big system and tossed in some barrels, so that, by summertime next year, we can have a new flavor-of-the-month adjunct stout to lord over the rest of the country.

BG prototype beer is not bad not much bourbon but hell of a lot of coffee with a touch of maple.
They just used barrel-aged beans as opposed to actually barrel-aging the beer, so it wouldn't surprise me if the bourbon were pretty subtle. Had to go back & re-read the description myself.

EDIT: And I should put "just" in quotes, cause them ***** is expensive. Like, New Windows expensive.

We had better get to building up the hype right meow. When Akamai hits the taps, we're going to need a pretty long line out the door waiting to get in. Anyone know a good (read: cheap) escort service that we can use to hire some decoy mules?

I realize no one cares, but at this point, are we thinking there will still be BA Gratitude available to purchase on the release date?

i just booked my summer airbnb completely aloof to beer opportunities or logistics. i guess if he EXISTED, this would be a sign from good ol' G-O-D...

I lived up there for 10 years, lots of awesome spots to check out- Three's brewing is a must- they are over near other half.

Some of my faves before I left in Manhattan:

Fools gold
The Jeffrey
One mile house
Top hops
So many more, will list when I get some time

Bottles - Whole foods Bowery beer room
Bottles - Abc beer co for some random gems

Pretty convinced that me drinking BG hops during the Pens games is very good juju. Started with a 750 of Foshomo for game 5, then poured Kuhnhenn, and 10 seconds after walking back into the room, Bolts scored and it was all down hill. Two 750s of Foshomo tonight? 5-2 win. Looks like I'm picking up some 'Tross tomorrow... Tho maybe brewgentlemen has a couple bottles of Fosho in the secret stash? Trust me... It's in the city's best interest.
Or just get rid of all your kuhnhenn stuff - I'll happily take it off your hands... for Pittsburgh.

I am considering trading my MBP & RBM for some bottles I have wanted to try. Gonna make sure its $4$ because that is the only way I am comfortable trading. Have you guys had good luck on this site trading? It seems like there is so much thread shitting on some of the trades that it is hard to sort through.

Thoughts? Recommendations?
What's on your "to try" list?

I've seen a handful of Marshmellow Handjee for MBP 1:1 posts floating around. If that's what you're looking for, it shouldn't be terribly hard to do.

BTW, was there ever a cost per MBP bottle determined? It was just a set price for the whole lot which makes $4$ pretty tough to determine.
It was $103/mbp. The other bottles were all extras.

Hoping that Maple Brukfust lasts until Sunday. Probably doing Muddy Waters for brunch, and would be awesome get a little morning maple buzz before chowing down.

Also, every time I see BG typed out I go back to high school and think of this:

Laughable cover art, especially looking back at it today, but I always thought the cases were cool because they were a colored plastic and not the clear plastic like most cd's. Also, these albums always had like 20 songs on them and at most maybe two of them were good.

awesome -- thanks joe!

i trust ur judgment, so if u feel like curating an exhaustive list and dm'ing it or something, that could be cool.

I'm missing a Three's can release by one day. :(

Torst was kind of a let down to me. Went excited and left after 1 beer, or 1/4th* of a beer or whatever. Also took the weirdest **** of my life in their basement bathroom. I'd recommend Other Half. I didn't like their beer very much but it felt good to be in a taproom that played Nas and felt like I could get stabbed there.

*1/4th of a beer that I was charged something like $12 for. Might have been 4-6 oz or so
Also, I'm very curious about this ****. Please elaborate.

Nice thing is we just got the whole cd from napster so we didn't have to pay
