I've had one before several years ago and I remember it because you don't forget a beer that tastes like rocks. The bar said it was a rare beer, but I wasn't sold on it.

Sorry I missed ya, got inside and ended up in the back by the bathrooms and didnt check my phone until after we left. Cool spot though, amazed we got there 20 minute early and got bottles of everything. The IPA they are putting out is incredible.

Any coffee geeks on here try beans from Steel Cup? They have a Wigle barrel-aged for just over $1/oz. at my local health food store & I was wondering folks' thoughts on the coffee itself & the price. It's definitely the cheapest whiskey barrel coffee I've seen but I'm wondering if it's even cheaper elsewhere.

Haven't tried that specific one but i do have a rum and whiskey barrel aged coffee that i could give you some of if you like.

They are interesting but dont really enjoy either enough for it to be my daily cup of joe

So nobody here tried Black Dinosaur? The reviews I've seen range from "great" to "mixed/crazy". Didn't realize they also used French Grenache barrels for the secondary with brett lambicus.

I couldn't find anyone who was going to that thing. I looked over in the other place to see if anyone had added it as a "Got" or anything, but it's not even been added to the database.

My flipper buddy was at the BA Grat pre-sale, & a few other friends went to DL (Box Office Brian?). His review was the least positive & most detailed I've seen so far, but he did have some good things to say about it.
