So who's gonna hit up BG this weekend for the anniversary festivities?

I'll be there with my one year old. He's... ambulatory? non-ambulatory? Whichever one means that he's upwardly mobile and does whatever the **** he wants now, he's that one.

Anyway, anyone want to mule 8-10 750ml bottles to my car for me? I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to logically make that happen whilst pushing a stroller.

I know it's a long shot, but if anybody can mule me a bottle or two of the Anniversary beer, that'd be awesome. I'd like to throw one into a BIF I'm in, but will be out of the country starting Wednesday.

Thanks

I can probably get you on this. I'm going to be stopping by very briefly at some point on Saturday as I'll be in Cleveland for most of the day but I'll be able to snag one for you.

I posted in the Ohio thread a few days ago asking for advice on Northern Ohio breweries since I am traveling through there on Tuesday. I guess the guys in the Ohio thread have better things to do than sit on their computers and talk about beer....who knew.

Anyone have any glowing recommendations? I make my usual Hoppin Frog stop and was thinking of possibly hitting up Brew Kettle. Any thoughts? Suggestions?

Main Street Brewing was a cool spot that I recall. Nothing "extreme", but I recall really liking their coffee porter. A short drive to this place which was really cool for hiking. ~Sorry for linking to BA, but their website is under construction when I just looked.

Willoughby Brewing is always enjoyable as well.

Bring a bag with you, like those reusable grocery bags. Or I am sure someone could carry them for you. I have had that occur more times than not. Most of the time just random people ask hey can I help you with that, when I struggle and try to do it all on my own.

Slap all those bottles in the stroller and put the baby in a Bjorn.

This too. Even if its for a minute.

Yes absolutely, we don't have most kid friendly seating or menu but they're cool.

Thanks to everyone for the kind words about the beer but I have some bad news. None of you know what you're talking about because the beer is still in fact garbage. But in all seriousness thanks for checking us out or giving us another shot in some cases. We still have a long way to go IMO but we are heading in the right direction and will continue to do so.

The kids were fine at your spot. Just as friendly as many other places. You had games and the seating was fine. The menu was fine too, at least for mine. They tore up the hummus and cheese.

Camped and hiked at Nelson Ledges last year, cool spot! It's a small state park that you can see most of in just a couple hours tops.

Ooh, forgot about the barrel-aged impy stout from Helltown they made for 3 Rivers ComicCon. That was really good too.

I just wish they had some semblance of consistency. When they're on, they are as good as anyone. When they are off, it's hard to get through a glass.

This is where in exploring TB a little more, you'd know that we have an answer for everything.

Gonna do things a bit backwards. Here's a box for evilc en route to the local fed ex.

Priorities.

I know I mentioned it before but it was drowned out in a sea of *********gery. If anyone is looking for FFF French Vanilla Militia for a MBP 1:1, pm me. I was approached by someone interested and said I'd pass it along.

was just at the Frog over the weekend, the new Doris seemed lacking compared the Boris the week before, YMMV

Any time I go to Cleveland, it's Willoughby.. for the beer, Peanut Butter Cup porter.. (and if you feel adventurous, get a crowler of the Peanut Butter & Jelly, you have to ask for it), and for the food, they have these strange chicken / pepperoni appetizer things wrapped like a spring roll)

If you want bottles, Save-More, in Mentor as well, it's about a mile from Willoughby.

Might be totally wrong, but was that you that mentioned a trip to Belgium a while back? If so, I'd be interested in hearing how it went when you get back.

Yes that may have been me.

Unfortunately the itinerary changed and we are doing Italy instead of Brussels...

Is that good value? Why don't you do it?

Dang. That sucks.

Yeah... Had to act quickly in case things escalated after the attack since we didn't buy trip insurance. Didn't want to risk it.

We found super cheap flights to Ireland this weekend though, so we may make it to Belgium next Spring.

Too early to tell on FVM but I'd say it's pretty reasonable. Seems like a good guy as well as we'd been trying to lock down a trade for a while now but couldn't for various reasons. If it were VBDL/MH, I would in a heartbeat. But I'm not interested in trading my last MBP as it stands right now, if I do at all.

EDIT: Plus the coffee thing which I don't love to begin with.

What's MH?
