Did you guys know that Pat from Helltown is John Kimmich's cousin?

I knew he had ties to Pittsburgh. His brother lives in the North Hills somewhere. My coworker's father and Kimmich's brother are best friends. Pretty sure his brother helped bankroll him when he was starting off (brother is apparently loaded).

Damn you Nate, i've officially wandered down the Fugazi rabbit hole.............there goes my day
Truth be told, I never got into Fugazi or a lot of MacKaye's stuff. I've never been a fan of his voice, & all his bands are just so serious, not very fun. Interesting to read about, but his output just doesn't resonate with me. Just another way me & kbuzz are like...

Speaking of fugazi and wandering into holes:

And so it begins............

Truth be told, I never got into Fugazi or a lot of MacKaye's stuff. I've never been a fan of his voice, & all his bands are just so serious, not very fun. Interesting to read about, but his output just never really resonated with me. Just another way me & kbuzz are like...

I was never a big Minor Threat fan but Fugazi will always have a place in my collection, especially their later albums. They ditched a lot of the straight forward indie punk sounds for a more angular tension. Red Medicine is one hell of an album.

I listen to more Fugazi now than Minor Threat...but Minor Threat will always hold a place in my heart. I lived just outside of DC when I first started getting into punk and Ian MacKaye was a god down there (still is, I'd assume)...and I used to see him in record stores all the time...really, really great guy. Saw him speak here at CMU(?? Pitt?) a number of years ago. One of my dogs is even named after him (MacKaye, not Ian)...

Have you ever heard his stuff with the Evens? It's a little less "hardcore" than previous material...

I should really revisit them, I can't say I gave their later stuff much of a chance. I was always fascinated by the dub influence, that was kind of my entry point.

Don't get me started on that Betman *******. It's a crime that he's touched the cup with his dirty money grubbing basketball hands.

Dude his parents were killed right in front of him when he was little and he became the hero we deserve, or need, or something. Cut him some slack.

Edit:my bad i misunderstood your post.

But Bale was the only good Batman.
As a movie they are great but bale was never batman he was to grounded and even ledger joker was not really the joker I love the movie for what they are great movies but. Keaton and conroy are the two best batmans
