So TH is Treehouse. What is Tired Hands? THands? Give me the info, i'm trying to get laid this year.

I typically would say that Tired Hands is "TH", but figured in the context of what I was saying, I could shrink Treehouse down to TH considering the first half of the comment provided the reference point.

I actually started a thread on BA about which should be considered the real "TH"...just for fun a while back when treehouse first started blowing up...and Todd deleted it and then called me stupid or something.

I tried Flying Dogs Mint Julep last night and it was supes interdasting.

And the rum bbl gonzo was pretty good, if you're into that sort of thing.
Is the Mint Julep bourbon barrel-aged? Where was this?

So anyway, does anyone have any sort of reasonable prediction as to what it may be like at Grist House on Saturday for that bottle release? I'd like to swing by, but my schedule for that morning is pretty tight...

I'd like to think it wouldn't be a mad house, but with what we saw at Draai Laag last fall for The Plague release, is that ever a safe assumption anymore?

Given Caliente had been hyping that and I've seen/heard very little about this, but still.

Do we know price yet? Either way, I doubt there will be much of a crowd.

Pic they posted of the bottles. A couple of people (myself included) have asked about the price on Facebook with no answer.

Trillium isn't as bad as Tree House despite being a significantly better product (imo...cry about it). The rare factor isn't there like it is with Tree House since it's right in the city and not the sticks. It's definitely a situational trade where it's gonna take the right person.

Completely agree the trillium I had is way better than any tree house I had

I went to a Flying Dog beer dinner over at Industry in Lawrenceville, 5 course meal with 5 beers, it was fun, food was pretty good too.

I think it's just a blonde ale with mint and honey, some bourbon flavor to it though, not sure how that's achieved?
Cool. I have yet to actually sit down & partake in a pairing dinner (other than, y'know, the home edition).

You lost me, too many big words, seems disrespectful but i can't be sure, I immediately forgive you though and from now on will refer to Tired Hands as TH and Treehouse as MEH.

I started a thread asking what beers i should name my turtles after, Todd also deleted that. Don't feel bad buddy

"it is yet to be determined but most likely between $12 & $14"

I don't know about every else's number line, but according to mine, that leaves us with one option?? o_O

So they couldnt just say that its $13? Whats up with going $1 one way or the other? If there is a long line does that make it $12, or does the line mean they can up-charge and make it $14? This release is in 5 days right, and they dont know what the price is

Sounds like one of my kid's "guessing games," where she recently asked me to guess a number between three and five.

The answer was orange.

so glad I invited you over to this thread...

(you really do have an animal fetish, don't you?)

I love these dinners, they can be pricey but i think it's worth it, especially when the brewer is there and the chef comes out and you get to pick their brains about stuff. Walked out with a belly full and a couple cool pint glasses, can't complain.

Agree that they are mostly pricey and enjoyable. Think this is the first year Fat Heads isn't doing one (at their place) for PCBW, (but they are brunching it up Sunday). Presence of brewer and chef do deepen the experience and make the ticket price more palatable (up to a point). Find it to be more attractive when the offerings are a departure from the norm (dishes and beers not normally available at said place).

RE The Trillionaire will probably pick it up if I see it. Thought the first iteration of Billionaire was good, the second was ****. I'll give it one more try though.
