I respect British humor but not my thing
an actual beer question:
heard the White Stout already kicked at rock bottom, was that the only place it was going to be?
i've been held to the fire many many times over me not getting The Simpsons or Family Guy.
My friend just started bartending part time at Caliente recently and said that they have bottles of Sump right now for $24 for anyone interested.
Yeah, but what does your friend think of family guy?
What of it?$50 says london1o1 loves Portland
I've seen enough Python to come to the conclusion that I shouldn't have to try so hard to like something. Like I said, so much of it just seems like something I'm "supposed" to find funny on a cognitive level. Most Mel Brooks is the same way, it's just so obvious & formulaic to me. Ever read "Comedy by the Numbers"?I guarantee that you only think that because of your perspective having been conditioned to absurdity by kids in the hall and everything after...not that I can claim to have a different perspective or anything...but....I don't know...I grew up on the pythons...my dad and grandpa watched that **** religiously, so it was the first absurdness I ever became conditioned to. Everything else since in that same genre seems derivative and just much less funny.
Have you watched their sketches or just the movies?
Dead parrot, ministry of silly walks? Etc.... ? Seems right up your alley....

I plan to bring up the '14 and '15 sets to open up at BG the next time I come up to PGH. I can let you know when, and you can come try them.
Tequila was really good when I went down to the '15 release, cognac was better in tap, and coconut was stupid good.
Haha, 7 minute window on that Sump. That I do not know but I assume that Seth McFarlane's humor is not as popular with females as it is with the bro population.
Edit: Sump is gone.

Would love to be as well, assuming it's not on a ******* Saturday afternoon.

"This is a study in absurdity. Observe."

Awesome, I will shoot you guys a message when we decide when we plan to come up next. We are thinking early May.
(Nate you don't like Mel brooks??)
Other than Holy Grail, I've never been able to get into Monty Python.
Maybe it's not, but it's enough to get me by. Maybe I'm wrong & just don't get what makes Monty Python gut-bustingly, spit-takingly hilarious.Apparently, nate just doesn't get jokes
Not fearing the accusations about the " dead horse"...further pondering this here statement. Curious how you feel the holy grail is an aberration from the rest of their material?
Yes. Very yes.Awesome, I will shoot you guys a message when we decide when we plan to come up next. We are thinking early May.
