I was at BG. I stayed put - I’d say only a handful of dudes went over.

I’ll just say that dropping something at a most likely empty pub(s) on the Tuesday before valentines makes sense financially. I’m sure their sales had a dramatic increase last night. Or they could be ********, who knows

It was similar to last year except there were less people. Better food but Doublemex was the only big stout available. Raspberry Hanging Gardens, which I believe is new, is probably the best in that series.

First taste of Zangy since reluctantly leaving the empty line at the conclusion of Good Vibes--because I stopped being able to taste stuff at a certain point. Minor departure from the no frills, dry roast of the OG; little semi-sweet chocolate before those subtle tannins this time around. Draft had a little more carb than I suspect the bottles will have, and thought this was a straight forward, inside-the-park homerun.

I continued to pound pour after pour of Zangy at the end of the fest and ended up naked in a Dennys (or was it Perkins?) a couple hours later.

I also believe I just closed a deal to trade a box of Bruery diabetus for 2x bottles of the new Zangy so excuse me while I dance around my office with a semi the rest of the day.

So I realize this is the Pitt thread and not that valid... but its as close as im gonna get to being a part of this ******** discussion.

I left work early today to get a start on my extra long weekend and drove to Lancaster. Zangy was flowing at the Lancaster location and I was the only one soaking it up for the first hour they were open. For what its worth, dont anyone ever try to go in there and actually attempt to smell/taste your beer. I dont think it woulda mattered if I was drinking zangy, mbp or yuengling... all I could smell/taste was delicous smoked meats whafting through that place care of the BBQ joint they are housed up with. Holy hell.

BTW, this isnt a complaint...

But was anyone elses experience with this version of zangy straight pete smoke or do I blame the BBQ joint for ******* with me?
