Maybe now I can get the beer they promised me over a year ago when I made the mistake of buying "shares" in that stupid brewery.

And what's up with people trading good beer for some Pittsburgh Cookie Table Prairie commissioned beer? I feel like there are a lot of new beer traders getting grifted by a handful of elite beer brokers.

Have you had any of the Prairie Dawgs before? Have you had the Brandy BM yet? ....or are you just hating?
 
I've seen the Cookie Table beer and a ton of the other Prairie Dawg variations floating around.

For me, it's pretty tough for a brewery to overcome a terribly negative first impression... The first two Prairie beers I ever had were the infected batch of BA Vanilla Noir, and the batch of Bomb! that tasted like someone dumped a camp fire into the tank. Have been hard passing on their beers ever since.

Understandable, I’ve had some people tell
me they will never have a Voodoo again after Hottin Up and Vanilla K13. To each their own.
 
Whats the issue with the K13 nilla? Ive had two bottles and no off flavors at all.

You can do some research on untapped on Vanilla K13. Every brewery misses here and there but Voodoo and Prairie hit more home runs than strikeouts. Both their names speak for themselves.

The conversation is getting sidetracked - my original question was how does the OP know it’s a bad trade if he has never tasted these beers or understands the valuation of said beers. Depending on which prairie dawg, there is value.

I had a taste of Brandy BM. I thought it was good.

I would love to see a pic of some dood with cases of cookie beer in his living room desperately trying to hype and flip them before people realize that it was basically a no limit release and 400 bottles per person and he was the only one in line.

Not really how it works, The limit is how many bottles your barrel produces. Usually 350-420 split among x number of people. Barrels sell out within seconds on sign up day. The better prairie dawgs always trade well. Just the facts of the matter if you look at last year and this year. Anyway good luck I’m sure Hulton Liquid works will be trading for BMs soon. Just got to be that guy in his living room hyping it up.

Then whats’s the argument? Prairie makes delicious beers in your words and someone traded a BM for 3 of them. The same trade was done multiple times. What’s the issue?

Sounds great that Hulton Liquid Works can make a 4.65 pastry stout. I’m sure everyone is eager to try it.

Not sure why you're butt hurt about this, honestly. I'm guessing you were in on the purchase and have to defend it.

I like some of the photos people are posting with "floaties" in the beer as a positive. Are those chunks of marshmallow? Better get flipping before those bottles turn.

I got you on the pasty stout! Hulton Liquid Dawgs commissioned beer programs' first customer. I won't do any less than 6 adjuncts in it and 1 must be a Nabisco product.

I think the ingredient list gives you an idea of what you're getting into. I'm not squeamish about floaties, that is, unless if they taste like barf. I never had prop 13 but I heard it had chunks of coconut in it and everyone loved that.

Got any Black Magics? This trades on secondary between me and my buddies for $150. I've seen this close 40 times. Thread **** in pictures of pastries.

Seriously, you are going to **** on Prairie - have you tasted your own beer (Hulton Liquid Works)? I mean half of them are/seem infected and that 12% pale ale turned out great. You have been speaking for a day about something you know absolutely nothing about. 1. Trade value 2. How to make a good beer. I’ll leave it at that.

Some of those "infected" beers could have been sour ales. Unlike all other beer styles they are made with orange juice instead of peanut butter and candy bars.
