Why did Nike have a missile command center during the Cold War?
Mainly all European stlye beers, but all very well done. After having a somewhat lengthy conversation with one of the brewers, it sounds like they're finding those styles aren't going to pay the bills for very long, so they'll be shortly changing about 75% of their lines to hops, non-kettle sours, and Imperial Stouts. Kind of a shame that things have to go in that direction for them, but given the quality and precision of their classic beers, I think they are sure to be a dark horse in Pittsburgh in the next few years.
They plan to pay the bills with cold-side sours?I happened to be out in the North Eastern boonies of Pittsburgh while I was up for the holidays.
Went to Conny Creek - They were about 2/6 in beers that I would even finish a 12oz of if I had already paid for it. 0/6 on beers I would purchase again.
Also went to Cellar Works - That place is truly a diamond in the rough and a hidden secret and I hope it stays that way for selfish reasons. Mainly all European stlye beers, but all very well done. Just that 6- to 24-month ferms, possibly barrel-aged, don't scream "get rich quick".I know right!? I guess they feel like there are enough pulpy fruit juice w/ lactic acid and sour ipa cookie cereal hot side sour beers coming out of Sharpsburg to fill the demand of the entire city.

But that gimmicky ******** just made a "top xxx" list so it must be right...right?

If you’re not involved with these places I’ll definitely check them out.

There hasn't been this much buzz in Verona since that one dood cut that other doors head off.
Has anyone heard of Devout Brewing in Murrysville? When you click on the "Our Story" link on their website, it brings you to this. No story, no text, nothing. Just this dude chilling on his patio. I mean, what the ****?
