Side note, you can now get Justin Severino salami delivered to your face https://www.saltyporkbits.com

I bought a 3 month subscription because I hate money and I love cured meat.
When are you coming out with your curred meat subscription? I don't think I can swing $45 a month for < a lb of meat, but let me know when you're ready to undercut Severino.

how could u not believe that a beer came and went without u knowing about it when u made zero attempt to know about it?

ok. one of two things is happening here. either you are reading way too deep or you are just trying to make an ass of me. im cool with either so ill bite

every other beer that people were talking about, i could nonchalantly go and try. this was the only one where that wasnt the case. i guess im more surprised that i was wearing a fantome shirt and about a dozen people said “hey man, i like your shirt” but not one of then happened to mention there was a tome blend being poured until she was gone

Personally - this is more enticing to me than Good Vibes.

I wish I liked JO's.

I wish there was more than, what, 1? saison on that list. JO's saison game is pretty legit, albeit pricey when it comes to bottles. But Brad is now engaged to Adair from SARA (how weird?), so if they can start pumping out SARA-level stuff, the prices will be easier to swallow.

Yeah I probably should have amended my statement on them. I've quite enjoyed their saisons/wilds that I've had, but their BA stouts and barleywines just don't work for me for whatever reason. I have no doubt it's a me problem.

For a non-sour saison, Elle is pretty perfect for my money. Any time I see that in Ohio, I buy as many as I can.

Anybody else listen to the latest DDB podcast where they reviewed Rye K13 & talked about Meadville and Pittsburgh?
I'm trying to listen to this now. Like really trying, but it's like 3 of the worst dudes from any beer Facebook page sitting around talking trash on the mods. Podcasts, how do they work?

Love ddb but listening to the first 1.5 episodes was painful. Since it's early, I'll probably check in after a while if it lasts.

Went to Cobblehaus in coraopolis on Friday. Pretty rough. Tried them all (I think), Berliner, Hefe, Tripel, Black IPA, Stout, American IPA.

The stout and black IPA may as well have been the same beer. Kinda hoping they poured me the same beer twice. My biggest gripe was that everything tasted watered down. Even the tripel. It was a cool place inside and very good service, but I would not reccomend going for the beer.

Your review of Cobblehaus pretty much mirrors my experience at Spring Hill. The space is super cool, but man were they pouring some of the worst beer that I have ever had. Considering what they're trying to do, I really hope that they figure it out.
