I'd recommend Grey Lodge. For the beer, yes, but mostly for their website: http://www.greylodge.com/pbw.html

Still hanging their hat on that coveted Esquire Magazine "Best Bars in America 2006" mention.

This site definitely has a Webmaster and he definitely got back into landscaping or has been incarcerated.

Is anyone else making their way downtown for the World Series Championship parade?

what a gem.

Last time I talked to someone about it, seemed pretty dead in the water. Helltown wasn't expecting to have to deal with permits, , laws, and silly little things like having restrooms.
I've never been to their Mt pleasant location. Do you have to pee in the woods up there?

Me and a brewery rep were talking about PCBW today. Her brewery is doing no events. Why does Pittsburgh have such a hard time getting a good craft beer week going? Is it the time of year? Is it the people who’ve been running it? Is it the horrible website? The lack of central event?

That facebook thread was fun yesterday.

Its probably a combination of all those things. I was in Tampa last year for a few days during their week and there was so much stuff going on I couldnt make it to all the events I wanted to. The same cant be said here.

Hell, Harrisburg has a ton of events planned for their week. https://www.harrisburgbeerweek.com/

Step it up Pittsburgh.

Organizing beer week is a lot of work, virtually no one in the industry wants to do the stupid little things that make it happen & a complete moron with little industry experience was heading up beer week until last week.

That Harrisburgh beer week website is definitely better

Yeah, was surprised to see him suddenly leave. Hopefully, someone with a slightly different aggenda takes over.

I heard Piper's is doing a Milkman tap-takeover and glassware giveaway the same afternoon as a "meet the brewer" event with Valhalla.

I'm fin' to get crunk in that joint.

Yeah, mfka just leaving? Gonna be a bad day if Nate doesn't get his Official PCBW Guide...

As long as we're FTFY (******* that foxy yak), I've added THE Brew Gentlemen to the imaginary list of beers.

I remember seeing the truck with the "THE Brew Gentlemen" magnetic sticker on it around my hood and first thinking they were a tap line cleaning service.
