Gift had a free growler fill voucher, free coffee from the local shop that was pouring (forget the name), BG lighter, BG tulip, chocolate, candles, and a thank you note/bookmark (looked like a bookmark to me?). There may be something else I'm forgetting.

Awesome small plates from Sousa including truffles scallops, cheeses/bread, tuna/tofu/steak/salmon tacos, as well as a chocolate fondue station.

Open bar with a great selection including a mystery DIPA, DoubleMex that came on later, and The End, which tapped after I left unfortunately.

I'm not sure who the DJ was but he did an amazing job.

Fun time but I wish it weren't on a Tuesday so I could have stayed longer. I did not recognize 95% of the people there.

Cool! Sounds like a nice time was had. With no bottles as part of the gift, I wonder what happened to all those silver waxed Brukfast or if those were just rumor

The End was not on tap, they did open at least 1 bottle after many people left. I wish they had a better set up for the food. Most people congregated in that side room where the food was so it made it difficult to maneuver, and to know when they put out more food, unless you wanted to stand with all those people in there. Tap list was full, I would imagine it will look similar for opening today. The gift was a bit of let down after bottles were given out last year, but a free growler I guess is just as good and the glass was nice. The lighter, candles, and such just came off to me like they were trying to give away something but didnt know what, or wasnt in the budget? (Got a similar sense with the DoubleMex gift set.) I was expecting more food, as those preparing it left around 10?? Saw them outside, and didnt realize until later they had left and there was no more food for the rest of the night. It was a nice event, and a good time.

Happy Valentines Day Pittsburgh Thread!

I drank a lot. I ate a lot. I saw a bunch of you degenerates. And I'm still a little hungover. Was a fun night.

The nameless DIPA was really good. Not Mammoth but right behind.

Mammoth > ??? > Meteor Hammer of the 3 DIPAs they have on imo but all are good.

I remember comments that they way oversold tickets and it was insanely crowded.

This, and supposaidly they let a bunch of wallkups come in who didnt buy tickets either and a lot of the trucks were cash only which people werent expecting. As far as space, I would assume it wouldnt be too bad this year considering the size difference between highmark stadium and the Hop Farm parking lot.

Speaking of Hop Farm, when's the next Margot release?

Vitus is on tap at Pipers right now.

Its probably the best beer anyone has ever drank.

If you don't like it you should quit drinking beer, pull your head out of your stinking rear, and try thinking clear.

That's a fancy glass you got there, fancy boy.
