I just don't understand why anyone would troll with cheap shots to this group. I'm pretty sure the computer nerds to beer nerds ratio is equal. I was actually more concerned that widespreadPGH was peeping through shuggy bushes. That's a whole different level of creep.

it is one of the more perplexing phenomena to have occurred in this thread in recent memory. Like does that dude have beef with pittsburgh? Or is he friends with someone who has beef with someone in this thread? Or was it just purely a random awful drunken troll job?

It was really, really weird. Especially considering greg4579 is the nicest guy in the world.

But widespreadPGH is clearly too big of a nancy to come back and explain himself, so I guess we'll just be forced to continue to speculate about what a waste of skin he is.

My sources tell me his name is Steve, he is in the industry, has followed this thread as a lurker for quite some time and really dislikes Caliente and thus was the reason for posting. I also heard that he is nervous that his employer will see his picture posted and that it is tied to that post. I can confirm that I have never met the guy, so it was not personal. I can also confirm that when I do he is getting a wedgie and/or swirly. Finally, I can confirm that I am speculating making a new meme of him for my avatar.

*edit my post about last Saturday mentioned them (Caliente) being great with him and giving him pizza dough to play with. I also portrayed a pretty positive experience there. Yes, not beer-related, but a lot of us have kids and it is nice to know places that are kid-friendly.

I was at BG last night. None of you fartsurfers said hi to me. I was the only giant bug there so it's not like you couldn't pick me out of the crowd. I was the scene, now i'm not the scene.

I liked the double ipa, and i drank a Gbraddocks cause i saw it got #2 on a list in Paste Magazine. Having only tried a few of the other beers on that list before i can say without a shred of doubt the Gbraddocks should have been #1. Supes delish.

I love Straight up Regs. I want to drink it straight up from the kegs. While eating ham and eggs with a girl with legs for days.

Saw a lot of people filling growlers. Multiple growlers. Do you guys think most of that beer is getting consumed locally or do ya think it's being traded away for other people's local stuff?

If I go to BG to fill growlers, I'd say 80% of them are for other people. And clearly that's no knock, I love them and their stuff, I just have multiple out of town folks who ask me for their stuff with some frequency.

My wife is going out to dinner with her friends tomorrow night which is gonna leave me home alone with the little bambino. Do we have multiple endorsements for Caliente's buffalo chicken pizza? Cause I've been craving some buffalo chicken pizza and the spot in Hampton is muy convenient for me.
