This how Prison City responded and yes, they won't have that beer for a while.
Well, now that we have had 24 hours to digest what happened yesterday, it seems appropriate, and necessary, to share some information with every one about our Mass Riot IPA.
For starters, holy crap! Yeah, we're still pinching ourselves. This is an incredible honor to be regarded so highly among so many of our favorite beers. Beers that inspire us. Beers that we, like so many of you, spend a lot of time traveling to get our hands on.
We also understand that there is going to be a lot of curiosity and folks looking to try Mass Riot. With that, we DO NOT have any available right now. We're tiny brewery, working on a 5 BBL system. The last batch of Riot lasted 8 days. However, Ben is working to get a batch, possibly two, brewing this week. This beer will take 4 weeks to finish. SO, we're hoping to have the beer back on tap in the next 4-5 weeks.
Please keep an eye on our Facebook page and Twitter (@prisoncitybeer) for release details. We are discussing several different scenarios to be able to offer everyone as much beer as possible, as soon as possible. We will release full details in the coming weeks.
Very big thanks to the folks over at Paste Magazine. Drinking and rating 247 IPAs, A ton of INCREDIBLE IPAs at that, cannot be an easy task. It is with great humility we accept this honor.
Bigger thanks to so many folks that have been PC fans for the last 21 months and spreading the word about our small little brewery in Auburn, NY. Additionally, to our NYS brewing friends for all the shout outs, congratulatory offerings and kind words. CHEERS!
Schulzy, Dawn, Ben and the entire Prison City team.
