Yawn, you mean every major city America?

I have a hard time finding full wings. Maybe I'm not trying hard enough.

In Western PA, you can easily find places that serve cheap beer (not under some BS happy hour special) and full bar wings.

Baltimore / DC / Philly are the 3 cities I'm closest to. Those types of places are rare.

When you show me a place in Philly where you can get a $1.50 Yuengling and good, full bar wings (whole chicken wing, fried until crispy, season salt), then maybe I'll believe that Philly has better bars than Pittsburgh.

*******, I wish more places did whole wings instead of ****** little wing dings drowning in overly sweet sauces.
Better beer bars. I think Pittsburgh has the market cornered on random bars you can find cheap food/drinks at.

Cheap ass beer coupled with chicken wings is, in my mind, an ideal beer bar.

In all seriousness though, Philly's beer bars are amazing. You can also find some world-class beer for $5, $6 a pour. Baltimore has some decent beer bars (probably better ones than Pittsburgh), but I am shocked if I ever find a pint that is less than $6...and usually it's Heavy Seas or Flying Dog....

Max's

Awesome selection, steep prices

MooseLang Walmart sells whole chicken wings. I reccomend a dry rub of your choosing that also includes about 3TBS of baking powder.

Coat wings with rub mix about 6 whole wings at a time in a bowl. Continue doing this till all wings are coated.

Bake at 350 for 30 minutes on baking racks. Flip wings. Bake another 30 minutes.

Coat in your favorite sauce.

The baking powder makes the wings incredibly crispy and you would be shocked that they weren't fried.

YMMV

Sold. Will report back when I eventually try this. Every so often, I'll fry some outside on the turkey deep fryer, but that is rare.

Will also buy a 6 pack of Yuengling to enjoy with it.

One time i went to Churchkey and drank 2 Schlenkerla Fastenbiers in a row on tap that were dope. Place had too much personality and the feel was too distinct tho, so i left and found a place that was way more generic and smoked weed in the alley behind it. jeevo that was for you, cheers

I urinated in that same alley you smoked in. That's what alleys behind dive bars are for.

Can confirm P-Snydez is a culinary wizard. I've tried his wing recipe and have since had an imprint of my zipper on the helm of my pork sword.

Wish I could give two "likes" for the use of pork sword

Don't let Matthouse3 fool you. He's the actual wizard. One time he made the best sausage gravy I've ever tasted..and scratch baked cheddar biscuits, and then Rjdillman made the best Cinnamon Cocconut French Toast I ever tasted, then Matthouse3 told me to try some of the gravy on one of the pieces of french toast.... and then they paired the meal with a Coconut ANTEAD and then I ejacked cookie dough throughout the inside of my Jnco's....

Bayardstown is a pretty sweet spot for day drinking
I've never liked it there. Always got the Vibe that I'm paying to drink in someone's Uncle's ****** backyard and I have to bring my own drinks. There are so many backyards around that you can drink in for free with or without permission.

It also sounds like a Car Dealership

Hey all,

I just wanted to let TalkBeer know that I will be leaving the Church Brew Works after July 14th after 5+ years. It has been mostly fun and always entertaining BSing with you guys. I will be staying in the area, in the meantime I may sign up for a personal account. I will be handing this account info off to the brewery although I would be surprised if you hear too much from it moving forward. Thanks for everyone that stopped by and tried the beer and gave feedback good and bad.

Cheers,
Justin Viale

Thanks for being involved! I love the breweries that hang out and post here. I wish we'd here a little more from the others, honestly.

*HINT*
