R u moving yet u ended the no hitter by talking about it

I was very careful not to mention details...I know the drill. Just wanted to make sure peeps were watching just in case...would have been nutz in his second career start. Dude's gotta stay up here after that **** right?

And why in the hell does Hurdle NEVER let anyone pitch into the 9th. Taillon could have pitched a Maddox. I know, I know...he has a history with his arm and that's the deepest he's ever pitched since 2013 or whatever and you wanna be careful, but c'mon...at some point you just have to be a fan of the game and let him go for it. What's 9 more pitches???

Hurdle is a great motivator but a horrible manager he has cost many game by miss managing the bullpen. He should stay up but with the Pirates it's always a crap shoot. He should at least been able to come out to try n finish it

Exactly...give him 9 pitches...if he can't get through it, then pull him.

Thought it was funny too that Watson comes out and promptly gives up a double vs Taillon's two singles over 8 innings

Yea he really has made me so mad at times like last year that joke of a lineup he put out there on that Sunday game we could of won the division if he would of manage just a little better

... Because Pirates.

:(

If it were me, Taillon would replace Nicasio in the rotation because that way you are improving both rotation and bullpen. Locke wouldn't add much to the bullpen. Plus I think you leave Locke in there and hope for a few more good starts so you can trade him for more relief pitching down the road. There's always value for a lefty...even if that lefty is Locke.

So, Voodoo Homestead doing something special right now. Like some good beers on this morning. ******* work. ******* it to hell.

Edit: Knew this would happen, after the teaser tweet earlier this week. Should've made plans. Today, I've failed my liver.

Sorry, liver.

Locke has pitch better as of late but would trade him when Glasnow comes up and pray that Frankie can get it together.

Pirates will send Taillon back down and keep Locke in the rotation... Because Pirates.

"Because Pirates" of today doesn't hold a candle to the "Because Pirates" of the 2000's regime.

Draft the college home run leader 8th overall (John Van Benschoten) and turn him into a starting pitcher ... Because Pirates.

Use the # 1 overall pick to draft a player (Bryan Bullington) that management feels "comfortable projecting into a solid # 3 starter" ... Because Pirates.

Draft a player whom the GM says has great potential to be a 7th inning reliever 4th overall (Daniel Moskos) ... Because Pirates.

Think about how good we could be with some of the players we have passed up. Don't forget the Ryan Howard for kip wells deal that we did not take.

You can have him now. Please take that contract.
Yea we would of never signed him bc of the shirt porch in right he would have so many home runs in Pnc. But would of been able to get some nice prospects in a trade bc the Pirates live prospects.

I start there on 6/27. But will probably be coming home on weekends until we get relocated. I'd imagine it will still be a few months before we're no longer pgh residents.

Good for you man, best of luck with the job and moving. Guess we are never going to be able to grab those beers now

Someone throw a going away party for Kbuzz.

I can't wait to see Kbuzz post in the North Carolina thread, legitimately asking which local breweries fill growlers and allow kids.

My wife went to High school with Tallion. Her parents we telling her the news in Houston was talking about the Pirates sending him back down before he had even pitched.
