Funny you say that, I had b1 a few times and loved it. B2 I only tried a little sample of and thought it had a weird finish. I chalked it up to the fact that the glass was dirty, and I was, in fact, drunk.

I'm not sure which batch I had. I got it in a Beer It Forward I participated in and I thought it was pretty bad. I was really surprised considering how highly it's rated.

1.Roundabouts gose is the best balanced gose I've ever had.

2. East end had a good thing with the paper wrapped gratitude. Putting it in cans is a complete joke. They make enough beer that they could be leading the pittsburgh brewery charge but instead they are so out of touch that they can the one beer people care about that ages well in a vessel( mobile canning company that does a terrible job with oxygen levels) that negates aging. I'm only iso a can to shotgun it, thats it.

The lightning is Steph Curry, right?? :D

Random question here, and Beerwanderer probably knows best here, but at Giant Eagle, rather than hang out and have a draft or two at the bar, are you allowed to buy a 6 pack from the cooler and then post up and have a few bottles? Or is on-site consumption only allowed for drafts and the designated single bottles?

Pretty sure it's a 2 per limit.

Good morning at GEMDRFL. Bottle of Halia, Lucifer for $3, a pint of KBS, and an unlabeled Dark Horse single which I'm going to assume is BA Scotty Karate for no reason at all. Love having Fridays off.

And this might only apply to OneDropSoup but I'll see you at
beers of the burgh. I'll be pouring for the love of my life, Roundabout.

Oh **** I misread what you were saying. I thought you were referencing grabbing a Pick 6. My bad.

Ha, no worries but agree with your point. I've seen some good Pick 6 sections (Shadyside namely), but the selection at the Giant Eagle near me is on par with the beer selection at Applebees.

I haven't had Halia in ages. Might have to grab a bottle. I'll be at beer of the burgh too.

Does anyone remember a youtube reviewer from back in the day (2010ish) who would alternate between reviewing decent craft beer (KBS comes to mind) and then occasionally responding to "malt liquor challenges" and chugging four loco and ****? I think he was actually from PA - maybe even from close to the Pittsburgh area. Dude was a goofball. Can't remember who he was for the life of me now....would love to go back and watch some of his videos again.

EDIT: IIRC, his schtick was removing the cap and throwing it in some demonstrative fashion

found him - https://www.youtube.com/user/BitterPoetMadman
