I have a half a packet of US-05 and a beer I want to make next week that calls for 1.5 packets of yeast according to the Mr Malty yeast calculator. The yeast I wanted to pitch with that beer is US-04, so I'm wondering if it'd be okay to pitch 1 packet of US-04 and half a packet of US-05?

I can't think of anything tragic that could come from fermenting with a mix. 04 is estery and 05 is clean so it might be difficult to predict the flavor contributed by the yeast. With the 05 you might attenuate a few extra points than with 04 alone. Personally, I wouldn't hesitate to do what you describe. Just be willing to accept that you might not get exactly what you set out to make.

I would also ferment in the 65* range
