Normally I give my beer a good shot of o2 through a diffuser before I pitch yeast. However ran out of o2 and didn't realize until it was in fermenter. Will this effect fermentation? I tried shaking but it spilled every where so I said forget it.

I have used pure o2 and just shaken close to 100 batches. I can't tell the difference. In my opinion, pure o2 is mostly unnecessary at the homebrew level. shake the **** out of it and call it a day.

I put my carboy on its side with a plug and roll back and forth for 5 minutes, I've never noticed any problems. It at least makes very drinkable beer, you should be fine.
